That’s a stereotypical statement from Americans.
When I told my friends I was going to Ukraine last year, they immediately joked that I need to be careful and not come back with a wife.
I assured them I would not.
Ukrainian and Russian Girls Don’t Want to Come to the U.S.
I’ve met dozens of good looking girls in Kyiv, Moscow, and St. Petersburg in the last few years. I have yet to meet one who wanted to meet an American guy and move to the U.S.*
*I have not been to, nor do I know of anyone from Odesa, Ukraine. (The foreign bride capital of the world). However, I can’t imagine it being much different.
* Also, it’s possible that older girls may be willing to leave everything and come to the U.S., but I didn’t meet any.
Maybe 20 years ago, an American guy could go to some little village outside Kharkiv, Ukraine, and bring a girl back to the U.S, but not anymore.
Pretty Slavic girls don’t want to move to the U.S. and don’t care if you’re American.
Show them your blue American passport, and they’ll say, “mnya so ravno” (“I don’t care” in Russian)
You may wonder, why don’t Eastern European girls want to move to the U.S.?

Yes, the wonderful internet.
These days, any pretty young girl can create a social media account or sign up for a dating site, and get hundreds or thousands of guys interested in them.
And as I said in the article Kiev, Ukraine Nightlife Slavic girls in the former Soviet Union are known as the best looking girls in the world. So it’s even easier for them. A beautiful Slavic girl can easily have 100,000 Instagram followers.
A good looking girl can get dozens, if not hundreds of guys willing to send them money and gifts.
Sometimes these girls have literally never met the guys in real life.
A Better Life in American?
So if rich men all over the world are sending them money, why would she want to leave her mom, family, and friends to move to the U.S.?
They surely will not have a “better life” in the U.S.
Girls in Moscow are friends with the sons of international businessmen and other billionaires. Moreover, girls in Moscow have no problem meeting wealthy educated Russians.
Sure, Putin put an end to the “Russian Oligarchs” but there are still many rich guys all over Russia.
I’m almost certain that every young pretty girl in Moscow has been inside of a Ferrari.
Interestingly, my travels around the world have definitely taught me one thing – beautiful girls don’t care if you have decent lawyer or doctor money. You must have real money.
With all that said, every Ukrainian and Russian girl I met said she would like to visit the U.S. They all would like to visit LA, New York, Las Vegas, or Miami.
But none would want to live here.
So like many misconceptions of Eastern Europe, pretty girls dying to leave for a “better life” in America is another one.
